"Jim & Amy Gorges own & operate American Freedom Defense, a company which promotes responsible use of firearms established and operated in Idaho County, idaho since 2013. American Freedom Defense, is also known as AFD Firearms Training or AFD Idaho. A retail gun store, as well as a shooting range rentals are available also. Training is focused on defensive shooting but is applicable for sport shooting and competitions. AFD is partnered with USCCA and all 4 instructors, Jim & Amy Gorges, Tyler Stephens and Conrad Banez, have USCCA Instructor Certificates. In addition Jim is certified as a POST instructor and Amy with the NRA. Jim is retired from law enforcement after 20 years of service, 12 of which he was an Undersheriff for Idaho County."
